The threat of rain did not keep over 175 people from attending the Second Annual Block Party on Saturday, August 13th.  Returning members and newcomers enjoyed food samplings from farm stand vendors Dove and Figs, Alex’s Ugly Sauce, Bread Obsession, and Roasted Granola Company.  Farm mascot Stewey the Tomato was on site to greet kids and to officiate over the fiercely competitive vegetable races!  Thank you to Silk Fields Farm for opening their gates to attendees. The goats and bunnies were the hit of the day.  Many thanks to all who made the event so enjoyable!
