A BIT ABOUT FLATBREAD

We love this place, and not just for how delicious the flatbread-style pizza is, but also for how they make it. Flatbread is the only place in our immediate vicinity where you can get pizza made entirely with local, organic produce and free range & nitrate-free meat products. They’ve also got a well-stocked wine and beer menu (Wolaver’s Oatmeal Stout on tap is my fave) and some seriously awesome brownie sundae desserts.

To see the menu and get directions you can visit the Bedford Flatbreads web page or click here to access a Google Map.

OUR HAND-PAINTED BANNER

Here’s a shot of our handmade LexFarm banner for the upcoming Flatbread Benefit Night. We managed to turn something that should have been a simple, one-night craft project into a week-long endeavor, but the end result is pretty great. This baby gets to hang in the restaurant, starting a week before the big night. The Flatbread folks liked it too and said they might keep it hanging in the restaurant even after our event!
