Please Join us for the first annual meeting of the Lexington Community Farm Coalition.

We’ll review all we’ve accomplished in the last year (including video featuring many of our supporters!!) and we’ll take a look at path ahead as we work to develop a community farm in Lexington.

We are pleased to announce our special guest speaker will be Patricia Donahue Gray, founding staff member of The Food Project, Boston MA, and its Executive Director through 2006.  Using her teaching and grass roots political organizing experience, Ms. Gray developed The Food Project into a national model of youth and community development through creating local food systems. Ms. Gray will give a brief talk titled: “Community Farms: Reflections of their Towns”, sharing her experience of how area towns effectively oversee and support their community farms, and giving us some good ideas for Lexington.
