Beginning today at our Lexington Farmer’s Market booth, and continuing until next Tuesday evening at the close of our Flatbread Benefit night, LexFarm will be holding a raffle! So be sure to stop by and see us at the market today, or stop in for some pizza at the Bedford Flatbread next week if you want to get in on the prizes.

Raffle Prize Description

Waltham Fields Community Farm One-Week Share

There will be five total winners.

Each winner will receive a week’s share of fresh, local produce from Waltham Fields Community Farm, located at 240 Beaver Street, Waltham, MA.

The week’s that are available to prize winners are:

• July 25 – July 31
• August 1 – August 7
• August 8 – August 14
• August 15 – August 21
• August 22 – August 28

Each weekly share includes the following:

• One pick-up of fresh produce from at the Waltham Fields Community Farm pickup stand. Your week’s share of produce must be picked up at one of the regularly scheduled pickup times during the week. This includes Tuesday 3-7pm, Thursday 3-7pm and Saturday 8am-12 noon.
• In addition, winners are welcome to harvest their share of “pick-your-own” crops during daylight hours on any day of their week. These crops vary, but can include things like cherry tomatoes, green beans, raspberries, hot peppers and perennial flowers.

The raffle drawing will be held on Tuesday, June 29^th. Five winners will be chosen randomly. An attempt will be made to contact each winner in the order in which they were drawn. Once contacted each winner will be allowed to choose which of the available weeks they would prefer.

Prizes are transferable. This means that if the prize weeks that are available are not compatible to the winners schedule, or if a winner for any reason cannot make it to the Waltham Fields farm for their pickup during the week they choose, the winner is free to send a friend in their place.
