I just finished reading the latest update of the correspondence to the Busa Land Use Proposal Committee here. By my count, there are 108 letters from different individuals supporting continued farming on the property. Compare this to a total of 35 letters for all other uses: community gardens – 5, open space park – 7, ballfields – 15, affordable housing- 8.

There is more work to do, but it’s time to pause and say a simple “Thank You” to all those who have written and spoken so thoughtfully to the committee.
