Giving Thanks

Volunteers plant spring lettuceA community farm is all about participation and engagement, and we wish to express our appreciation to all of the individuals and families who were involved in this season’s success.

Thank you to the volunteers who took time out of their own lives (and gardens) to help the farm run smoothly. We are grateful to those individuals who joined Tim in the fields to seed, transplant or harvest, prepared and sent out LexFarm membership emails, served on Board committees, assisted in our Learning Garden programs, delivered excess produce to local food pantries, and helped Jaclyn in the farm stand.

Thank you to our members. Your support guarantees the success of the community farm’s food access, education, and outreach programs.

And thank you to our CSA shareholders. Signing up and paying for your share at the beginning of the season allows us to make our production plan and form partnerships with other local farms to bring you a weekly bundle of farm-fresh produce. Just as in your own gardens, you must buy the seeds first and pick vegetables later. We need your support to do the same.

We would like to extend a sincere thank you to YOU, for bringing your energy and enthusiasm to our shared vision for a community farm for all!
