Farms and Forests in New England
I attended the Citizens for Lexington Conservation (CLC) annual meeting last night, and got to hear Prof. Brian Donahue speak about the future of farms and forests in New England. It was very interesting to hear Prof. Donahue’s vision (not a prediction or a plan!), of how and where New England might regrow its forests while also managing enough farmland to provide half of New England’s food supply locally. The talk was taped and so hopefully will be available OnDemand on LexMedia soon. Many thanks to CLC for bringing Prof. Donahue to Lexington.
