Community Events for All

LexFarm offers year-round opportunities for community members to get involved through community events at the farm. Live music, movie nights, and participation in the Patriot’s Day Parade are just a few of the community events hosted by LexFarm. It’s a chance to care for the farm, build connections with others, contribute to a shared mission, and enjoy yourself along the way.

Seedling Sale

In the spring, LexFarm’s Pre-Buy Seedling Sale kicks off the growing season. Farm-grown seedlings give home gardeners a strong start while supporting the work of the farm and the food we grow for the community. The Pre-Buy Seedling Sale  is a way to reserve seedlings in advance to pick them up in early-mid May. This sale includes a variety of herbs, greens, fruiting crops (tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, etc.), specialty cultural crops, and more! All seedlings are certified organic and grown with Vermont Compost potting soil. If you want to guarantee you get our favorite varieties in all the quantities you need, this is the best way to do it!

Harvest Festival

Each fall, our Harvest Festival brings the community together to celebrate the season and the land. Adults and children gather at the farm to enjoy the harvest, connect with neighbors, and mark the close of the growing season with gratitude and joy. The day is filled with live music, hands-on youth activities, a collaborative community art project, time with farm animals, and a welcoming atmosphere that captures the spirit of the farm. Guests can enjoy delicious local food and craft beer while spending a relaxed afternoon outdoors with family and friends.

Sunset Concert

LexFarm’s summer sunset concerts invite the community to enjoy high-quality live music while picnicking on the farm after hours. As the light softens, audiences experience the beauty of the landscape—birds in motion, birdsong, and the evening chorus of katydids and crickets—creating a truly magical setting.
