Organic Fall Bulk Sale

We are now taking orders for our third annual Organic Fall Bulk Sale! We are offering bulk quantities of organic storage vegetables from our farm and a few other local farms, so you can stock up for the winter. Carrots, beets, potatoes, radishes, sweet potatoes, turnips, onions, cabbage, winter squash, celeriac, garlic and seed garlic are all available in bulk. All vegetables should store beautifully through Thanksgiving (and then some).

All bulk vegetables MUST be preordered so we can fill everyone’s order. Bulk vegetables will be available for pick up at the Lexington Community Farm stand on Friday November 2 1:00 – 6:00 and Saturday November 3 9:00 – 4:00. We will also be open for regular retail sales of storage crops, fresh greens, and other local products.

You may pay when you pick up with cash, check, or card, including HIP/EBT cards. All items are HIP eligible.

Butternut and sweet potatoes will store for 2-3 months in a cool, dark place like a box in your cellar or a dark, cool cabinet. Acorn, delicata squash, garlic, and potatoes will store at least 1 month in a cool dark place. Root vegetables and cabbage will store best in a plastic bag in the fridge or a wax cardboard box in an unheated garage that doesn’t freeze.

Orders must be placed by October 27.
