Visit the Farm
As a community farm, we welcome everyone to come and enjoy the land and the outdoors. We’re open from sunrise to sunset.

Here are a few ideas of what you can do when you visit the farm:
- Explore the farm: See everything that’s growing! Our farmers have cultivated a beautiful space that we want to share with you. Look around and try to identify the different kinds of veggies and flowers growing. Our fields connect Lowell Street to Silk Fields Farm, the Arlington Reservoir walking path, and the ACROSS Lexington D path
- Go bird watching: Bring your binoculars and admire all the different kinds of birds and their songs. If you’re lucky, you’ll see our red-tailed hawk named Renaldo, who can often be found by the learning garden (near the picnic tables). Many birds overwinter on our farm, and a list of recent species spotted can be found here.
- Stroll around Arlington Reservoir: Located right next to the farm, the “Res” has a nice walking path that makes a 1.2-mile loop around the water that you can access from the farm. Look for the flock of resident swans!
- Go shopping: Stop by our Farm Store for fresh veggies and locally made products! The Farm Store is open to everyone–you don’t have to be a CSA shareholder to shop.
- Have a picnic: Grab some food from our Farm Store and enjoy a picnic with your family and friends. We have picnic tables by our Learning Garden that offer a lovely view of the farm.
- Take a scavenger hunt: This is a fun game for kids! While staying on the farm roads, see how many farm features you can find. Download these worksheets for ideas:
